Rob Peterson

Rob has been a licensed insurance agent since 2010 and owned a State Farm Insurance Agency for six years. He started his career in the Supply Chain industry and has spent 14 of the last 20 years working for some of the most recognizable names in trucking/transportation space, most recently serving as Managing Director of Midwest Operations for England Logistics.  He was awarded Schneider National’s Presidential Award for Continuous Improvement in 2003 and earned his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt via General Electric’s prestigious program while working for Penske in 2010.

He is passionate about creating risk management and asset protection strategies for his clients.  Rob is utilizing his experience in both insurance and logistics to create comprehensive risk management programs for the transportation industry.  He is also focused on manufacturing, commercial real estate, contractors, and professional services companies and is working on developing programs and partnerships with the Michigan Trucking Association and Michigan CPA Association.

Rob is a 2001 graduate of Central Michigan University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

When Rob is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters Up North or on the side-lines of one of their Michigan Lightning soccer games.  He is an avid sports fan and loves to golf, work-out and play soccer.
