Ian Foster graduated from Drexel University in 2020 where he was a business finance major and a member of their Men’s Division I Lacrosse program.

Post graduation Ian became a member of Crum and Forster’s Middle Market Surety Bonds underwriting division for a year before returning to Michigan to join Mourer Foster Inc., a commercial bonds and Insurance Agency in the Lansing area. While working for Mourer Foster Inc., Ian’s roles consisted of being a Property and Casualty Insurance Agent as well as the Director of their Bonds Division. As Bonds Director, he would oversee the day-to-day operations of the department as well as build his own book of P&C business. In addition to these roles, Ian was also in charge of running one of Mourer Foster’s small Captive Programs for pet care professionals. This program was available nationwide.

After 4 years with Mourer Foster Inc., Ian joined Allied Insurance Mangers Inc. as a Sales Executive and Bonds Specialist. Ian’s areas of expertise consist of:

In Ian’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also likes the outdoors whether it’s hunting, fishing, playing golf or going for a run. Ian tries to fit something active into each day.

Eric began his career in the insurance industry in 2007. For the past 17 years, he has focused exclusively on contractors, distributors, lessors’ risks, and manufacturers—including but not limited to machine shops and plastic injection molding. The vast majority of his clients have come to him by referral and have become long-term relationships, often turning into friendships.

Eric’s values are old school—he picks up the phone, replies to emails, and handles client matters promptly. He prioritizes accessibility, transparency, and providing relatable examples that help explain your policies and their limitations.

When it comes to your insurance needs, Eric and the team will keep things simple, competitive, and easy to understand—even in today’s complex insurance landscape.

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with family and friends. He’s an avid outdoorsman with a deep love for nature. He also has a passion for aviation and has been involved with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Aviation Division.

As a University of Michigan-Dearborn graduate, Sam obtained a double major in accounting and information technology, from the College of Business.

Partnering with his two brothers, their goal was to create an accounting practice, CommonWealth, to cater to our client’s needs in their area of expertise. Offering exceptional client services through accounting and bookkeeping, business planning, business creation and development, payroll services, and tax services. To ensure that their clients receive further care and services, he acquired his insurance license and partnered with a company that envisioned the direction that they were headed.  Allied Insurance Managers was the perfect fit and has brought tremendous success fulfilling their mutual client’s needs.

As an accountant, insurance agent, business owner, and friend, Sam understands the importance of having strong moral and ethical characteristics because he upholds these values personally and professionally in his everyday life. Sam’s goal in life is to pursue his passion in business by creating a knowledgeable and structured environment for years to come.

Rob is a 2001 graduate of Central Michigan University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He started his career in the Supply Chain industry and has spent 13 of the last 22 years working for some of the most recognizable names in trucking/transportation space, most recently serving as Managing Director of Midwest Operations for England Logistics.  He was awarded Schneider National’s Presidential Award for Continuous Improvement in 2003 and earned his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt via General Electric’s prestigious program while working for Penske in 2010.

Rob has also been a licensed insurance agent since 2010, is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and owned his own Insurance Agency for 6 years prior to working for Allied Insurance Managers.  He is passionate about creating risk management and asset protection strategies for his clients.  Rob is utilizing his experience in both insurance and logistics to create comprehensive risk management programs for the transportation, manufacturing, commercial real estate, contractor, medical and professional services industries.

Rob also specializes in the Fire Protection Contractor industry and has a great relationship with all the top insurance underwriters who offer best-in-class programs in this space.  Having the experience and the relationships with key underwriters in specialized marketplaces allows Allied to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions for its insureds.

When Rob is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters on the shores of Lake Huron or on the side-lines of one of their Michigan Stars FC soccer games.  He is an avid sports fan and loves to golf, work-out, play soccer and play guitar.  He serves as an elected officer at a local non-profit and sits on the board of its charitable foundation.

Justin is an energetic problem-solver with over 20 years of real-world experience helping clients achieve their critical business goals. He spent the first decade or so of his professional career working for major national companies such as CBS Radio, Cox Enterprises, Kelley Blue Book, and Autotrader.com, managing client accounts in multiple key markets across the country.

Justin works with a broad range of clientele. His experience has helped familiarize him with the various risks associated with many different industries. He is devoted to establishing himself as a valued consultant for each of his customers. Justin is a life-long learner and proud graduate of Central Michigan University. He also earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).

He enjoys spending time with his wife Veronica, his family, and his dog Lil’ Pete. He loves the outdoors, music, live concerts, and discovering new foods from all cultures.

Drew is a positive, energetic, go-getter with over a decade of experience helping clients reach their personal and business goals. He spent the first half of his professional career in property management, helping oversee one of the largest apartment complexes in the state of Michigan. In the last 5 years, Drew has been helping clients achieve the “American Dream” as one of the top producing Executive Mortgage Bankers at Rocket Mortgage. These combined roles have helped Drew master skills of communication, active listening, and problem solving to find solutions that others often overlook. Drew is obsessed with finding a better, cost effective way for his clients.

Drew is a proud father and husband to his wife Sarah. When he is not helping clients, you can find him coaching his son, Kosta, on the basketball court, having tea parties and dress up with his daughter Hazel, or crawling around after his youngest son, Roman. He also takes part in many sporting and recreational activities, such as basketball, golf, bowling, snowboarding, and lifting weights. Aside from that you can catch Drew at sporting events, concerts, or enjoying a drink or two with friends and family, especially outdoors when the sun is out.
