Check out the Shelby Township Farmer’s Market this weekend at the Packard Proving Grounds.  This wonderful outdoor market is set up every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the front lawn.  You will find and enjoy all of your farm fresh favorites, flowers, yard decorations and much more.  Half of the proceeds support the Packard Foundation and their efforts to renovate the beautiful Packard Proving Grounds.  The market will be up and running rain or shine.

Royal Oak will be hosting the 2nd annual Wild West Summer Beer Fest benefiting Camp Casey.  This festival will start at 7 p.m. on Saturday and continue until 11 p.m.  Stop by to enjoy great food, live music, beers from across the world and most importantly, to help a good cause.  Tickets are $40 and all of the profits benefit a local horseback riding program for kids with cancer.  Even though this is only the second year, this event is sure to sell out quickly.  Be sure to reserve your tickets ahead of time. Check out a similar event on Friday and Saturday called the Detroit Summer Beer Fest.

End your weekend with a nice relaxing viewing of the 55th annual Target Fireworks show.  The show starts at about 9p.m. on Sunday and will be on the Riverfront of Detroit and Windsor.  Stop by the Riverfront Deck at Piazza Udine in Windsor for live music, steak dinner, and the best viewing of the fireworks.

Have a wonderful weekend!
